GRAAL : A new toolkit for behaviour description

Project GRAAL was approved by clusters Imaginove and Minalogic, and will be funded by a FUI grant for two years, starting in January 2009. Lead by Probayes, this project concentrates the expertise of a video game developer, AGE Studio, a producer of robots for education and entertainment, POB-Technology, and a robotics research lab, INRIA/e-Motion. It aims to produce a generic behaviour construction toolkit, suited for human-level artificial intelligence for video games and autonomous robots. It will rely on ProBT to bring the modelling of complex autonomous behaviours to the hands of students, home enthusiasts and game addicts, as well as professional developers. This project is funded by the French Ministry of Industry (DGE), the Rhône-Alpes region, and the Grand Lyon urban community.
