For example, in the area of wood energy Probayes is taking part in a project backed by the Rhône-Alpes region and ADEME (French Environment and Energy Management Agency) for the quality control of wood fuel delivered in industrial qualities. The project consists of a measuring probe fitted with several sensors and a fusion system; this assembly produces a qualitative assessment of a trailor of fuel produced or delivered that is based on criteria of granulometry, petrol, humidity and calorific value.
