The Mexican-French Laboratory in Information Technology (LAFMI) expects to enlarge its cooperation with other European countries.
The First European-Mexican Information Technology Workshop took place in Xalapa, Mexico from April 8th to April 11th, 2008 . The National Laboratory on Advanced Informatics (LANIA) hosted researchers coming from Mexico, France, Spain and Germany. The expectations of this workshop includes the possibility of creating The European-Mexican Laboratory on Information Technology (LAEMI) a similar frame work to LAFMI.
