Simon Fraser University (SFU) is one of the most important and prestigious institutions in the West of Canada. Its qualities are hard to equal: a very prestigious and active faculty, a high potential in research, and a wonderful campus situated in a unique and spectacular natural environment. This is how I remember SFU, a pearl of West Canada.
On 1994-1995, I made my post doc on the research team of Dr. Kamal Gupta. I remained an associate researcher of SFU until 1999 when I leave Mexico to joint INRIA. From 1995 to 1999 I expended two summer months at SFU to lead research on Path Planning together with Dr. Kamal Gupta.
