Universidad de las Américas, Puebla

I was student (1985-1990) and professor (1995-1999) of the "Departamento de Sistemas Computacionales" [1] at the Universidad de las Américas, Puebla (UDLAP) in Mexico. Few years ago, this department has been fusioned with the "Departamento de Electrónica" [2] and now is called "Departamento de Computación, Electrónica y Mecatrónica" (Department of Computation, Electronics an Mechatronics).

Since I leave Mexico in 2000 I have remained in narrow contact with the community at UDLAP, my "Alma Mater" where I have several friends and colleagues.
