Probayes is a spinoff of research institutes INRIA and CNRS established to transform technologies developed in the lab into marketable products.

The company now has more than seventeen years of experience behind it, and is currently a leading provider of artificial intelligence solutions. Probayes’ team of 50 data scientists work with some of the world’s largest corporations to develop custom AI solutions that deliver a high return on investment.

Probayes’ core expertise is machine learning, but the company has developed substantial know-how in adjacent fields like optimization, sensor fusion, image processing, NLP, design, and development. We bring our customers models that help drive innovation, support optimization, and deliver reliable decision assistance.

With solutions for the automotive, defense, logistics and distribution, chemicals, and financial services industries, Probayes is active on a wide range of markets. The company’s strategy is to continue to grow on these markets and expand into strategic new markets. In May 2016 Probayes was acquired by French postal services company La Poste. Since then, it has become La Poste’s center for know-how in artificial intelligence and has acquired additional expertise in the kinds of big data infrastructure and IT security projects a large company like La Poste implements.

Probayes’ is headquartered in Montbonnot-Saint-Martin, in the heart of Grenoble, France’s high-tech ecosystem, and opened a branch office in Paris in 2017.
